Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aušra Januliene from the University of Vilnius (Lithuania) visited the Technical University of Crete in the framework of the Erasmus+ Teaching Staff Mobility Programme. The workshop was well attended by students and provided interesting insights on language ability for people who want to study or work where English is used as the language of communication. In fact educational institutions, employers, professional registration bodies and government immigration agencies often require proof of English language skills as part of their recruitment or admission procedures and IELTS is widely accepted for these purposes.
