Congratulations KYRIAKI-LYDIA CHATZOPOULOU（李德华) from this year’s Chinese 4 class, who has been selected by the Chinese Embassy to go to China to attend the Global Finals of the 24th Chinese Bridge Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students* as an observer in August 2025. The Technical University of Crete is one of only two universities in Greece to receive the honour of having a selected student attend the Chinese Bridge Global Finals in China. Well done!
*The “Chinese Bridge” (汉语桥) is a prestigious international Chinese language and cultural competition organized by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation under China's Ministry of Education. Since its inception in 2002, it has attracted over 800,000 participants from more than 120 countries, serving as a significant platform for promoting Chinese language learning and fostering cross-cultural exchange. The 2025 edition of the Chinese Bridge Competition continues its tradition of engaging non-native Chinese speakers worldwide.
