Giannis Antonakakis is a graduate of the School of Production Engineering and Management at the Technical University of Crete (March 2022). During his studies, as a DAAD scholar, he attended intensive German language courses at the Freie Universität Berlin (2016). Shortly after (2016), he participated in the Erasmus+ program, attending courses at Hochschule Düsseldorf as part of student mobility. At the same time, he was an active member of the Erasmus Student Network of the Technical University of Crete (ESN TUC), serving as president for two years.

He began his professional career at Karamolegos Bakery S.A., where he worked as a Production Line Supervisor and later as a Data Reporting Analyst. Since June 2024, he has been active in the aviation industry, specifically at SKY express, where he currently holds the position of Group Sales Executive.
